This policy explains what personal information Sacred Kingdom Travel Bhutan (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. Our office is at Changlam Plaza, Room 503, Thimphu, Bhutan. Questions about your data can be sent to sacredkingdomtravel@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name and email address, and anything else you choose to give us: country of residence, phone or WhatsApp number, travel dates, number of travellers, interests and your message.
- Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Booking details if you travel with us, such as passport details needed for your visa, dietary and health information you share so we can plan safely, and travel insurance details.
- Website usage data collected by our hosting and analytics tools, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. This does not identify you by name.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare an itinerary and quote.
- To arrange your journey if you book, including your visa, permits, hotels, guide and transport.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Where it goes
The enquiry form does not store your message on this website. It is sent by email to our Gmail inbox, which is provided by Google. If you book, we share only the details each provider needs with hotels, your guide and driver, airlines, and the Bhutanese government for visa and permit applications. The website is hosted by Hostinger. Some of these providers may process data outside Bhutan.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies needed for it to work, such as remembering a form you have started. It also uses Google Analytics to measure visits, and a chat button that lets you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to answer you and plan your trip. If you travel with us, we keep booking records for as long as Bhutanese law requires. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing sacredkingdomtravel@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
